Today I had a conversation like this:
She asked “I need advice from a young graphic designer to an old graphic designer.”
I replied “am I the young one or the old one? hehehe :)”
She laughed and said “I graduated from college in Graphic Design when you were in diapers. It has been a REALLY long time and am really interested to get started again. Where do I start? What programs do I use? etc. etc. etc…..
I replied with this:

These are my FAV 5. I must open and work in all of these programs atleast once a week or my brain will turn to fish oil! (Grandma J’s quote about watching too much TV can be applied in this situation) You can download any of the Adobe Products for FREE for 30 days. If you are getting ready to start doing your own Graphic DESIGNING there are six different CS3 software collections find out more at Adobe.com/creativelicense/. Depending on your expertise you will choose a different suite. We have the whole ka-bootle with the CS3 Master Collection but you may want to choose the Design or the Web Premium depending on what you will be doing or what you are more interested in learning. Good luck and if you have any questions – you can always ask!
Is there a cheaper program for me to get started on digital scrapbooking? I’m not a computer genius, like you, so I just need something basic and if I keep it up, then I’ll upgrade in a while. Email me or just leave a comment on my blog. Thanks for all your computer tips! I love them!
